Year-round Ministry

OOTB is a year-round ministry of the Eastern Shore District of the United Methodist Church. The camp offers full-service, self-service, and camping to groups seeking to nurture their relationship with God and one another through use of our natural setting and/or in service to the community.

Retreats/Meetings

Occohannock on the Bay offers a large multi-purpose dining hall that may be divided into two sections with each section seating approximately 100 people without tables. This number is reduced to 50 people on each side when tables are used. During appropriate weather, a large screened-in porch can also serve as retreat space for approximately 60 people. The outdoor chapel by the waterside is a perfect setting for worshiping and singing. A picnic pavilion also by the water offers a covered space with picnic tables and grills. Currently, 10 cabins sleep 100 people using bunk beds. The cabins are heated and have air conditioning. Three bath house facilities are centrally located to the cabins and meeting space. OOTB offers wooded areas for walks and solitude as well as 1 mile of waterfront for enhancing one’s appreciation for all of God’s creations.
