2008 Camp Program

The 2008 Camp schedule is now available. Registration is first come, first served. There are 2 new special interest Elementary Camps available for 9-12 year olds this year: Elementary Sports Camp and Elementary Visual Arts Camp. Elementary Soccer, Middle School 12 day Camp, Outer Banks Beach Trek, Pocomoke/Assateague Adventure, and our tradition camp session are offered. New Addition to High-Ropes
In July 2007 Will Tyson, Troop 313, planned, funded, and built a 30 ft. Rock Climbing Wall as part of his fulfillment as Eagle Scout.

Annex Adopted
In November 2007, "The Annex" (the covered garage attached to the camp director's residence) was adopted by the United Methodist Men of Main Street United UMC, Suffolk, Virginia. Renovations included replacement windows, painting, new trim, and tile floor. The annex will now be known as "The Prayer Chapel".

Cabin 3 Adopted
The United Methodist Men of Craddockville UMC adopted cabin 3 to care for it's maintenance and electric bill.

Cabin 6 Adopted
The UMM of Christ UMC, Norfolk District adopted cabin 6 which was built and funded by Christ UMC and Charity UMC of Nofolk District in 1999.
