Day Mission Camp
Combine 5 days of traditional camp life, all of your favorite activities including
kayaking, sailing, canoeing, fishing, Chance Beach off-site camp-out, challenge
course, devos, skim boarding, 30 foot rock climbing wall, and more, along with
5 days of community service, helping those in need, plus a trip to Ocean Breeze
Water Park, in between. Includes T-shirt.

Middle
School Coast Guard Auxiliary Boating Skills
Camp
Ron West, Coast Guard Auxiliary Training Officer for Sector Hampton Rhoads,
and Eastern Shore Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla # 12-02 members will lead
campers through boat handling, regulations, communications, knot tying, basic
charting, aids to navigation, and more. Upon completion of camp week, campers
will receive a “About Boating Safely Certificate” (required in
Virginia) from the Coast Guard Auxiliary, to operate a boat and PWC (jet ski).
Bay
Ecology
INstructors from the Eastern Shore's own Master Naturalist, along
the OOTB's awesome counselors, will lead campers through a week
of
marsh mucking, field trips, and getting wet inthe bay discovering
life above and below the water line. Canoeing, kayaking, nigh
fishing, devos, skits, songs, camp-out, challenge course, and
more. Come ready to stay wet, get muddy, meet new friends, and
learn more about God's creation. Includes T-shirt.
Kayaking
Dave Burden and crew of Southeast Expeditions, along
with OOTB’s awesome counselors, will lead 12
to 14 campers and 4 to 6 counselors. 5 days and nights
of learning the basics of kayaking, exploring the coast
line, creeks, guts, and more. The group will spend 3
days and nights kayaking and tent camping along their journey. They will prepare their own meals, and
practice no impact camping (leaving no trace that they were even
there). They will experience all of the traditional
camp activities as well, challenge course, skits, devos, songs,
worship, fishing, swimming, and more. Don’t miss this awesome camp

Bay
to Mountain Trek
The adventure of a lifetime. Begin at Camp Occohannock with the
challenge course and traditional group building
camp activities on Monday. Tuesday morning depart for
Camp Bethel our partner camp near Roanoke Va. Arrive Tuesday
evening to sleep in a screened in shelter, on
mattresses. Wednesday night camp out in Camp Bethel’s
Home in the Woods, building your own shelter, and cooking your
own meals. Meanwhile enjoying Camp Bethel’s
swimming pool, mountain hiking to the Appalachian
Trail, Dining Hall meals and their High Ropes Course, including
the Jacob’s Walk, Cat Walk, Postman’s
Walk, High Wild Woozy, and Zip Line, all 30 plus feet in the
air. Thursday evening join Camp Bethel’s campers and
staff for Skit Night, Campfire, and Worship Camp
Bethel style. Friday morning after a delicious breakfast return
to Camp Occohannock, arriving back at camp approximately
5:00 pm. This trek is suitable for beginners and experienced campers.
Robotics
Camp
Mike Brown and MaryBeth Brenner, coaches of a local, award-winning
FIRST Lego League
Team, and student mentors from a local high school robotics team,
will lead campers through
the design, construction, and programming of Lego Mindstorms
robots. Campers will be
challenged to solve obstacle-course like challenges through age-appropriate
robotics technology, culminating in a competition
between teams of campers at the end of the week. In addition, they
will learn the FIRST values of problem solving, team work, and
gracious professionalism. The finished robots
will be on display for parents to view on Friday night. Campers
will also experience all of the traditional camp
activities including challenge course, skits, devos, songs, worship,
fishing, swimming, camping, 30’ Rock Wall, and
