The Eastern Shore of Virginia is a 'land between two waters'. As the southern most tip of the DELMARVA Peninsula, Seaside is the Atlantic Ocean and Bayside is the Chesapeake Bay. OOTB is located bayside. The Eastern Shore is accessible from mainland Virginia by way of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. U. S. Route 13 South brings travelers from Maryland and points North.

The DELMARVA Peninsula is comprised of the state of Delaware, the Maryland counties east of the Chesapeake Bay and Accomack and Northampton Counties in Virginia
