Summer
Camp will provide living experiences in "a
place set apart" to explore God's story, to experience
the vitality of Christian community, and to grow in Christian
faith.
The annual
curriculum is biblically grounded,
theologically informed, experientially based, culturally
aware, environmentally responsible, developmentally
appropriate and inclusive of all persons.
Campers
enjoy traditional age appropriate camp
activities such as cabin and tent camping, outdoor cooking,
canoeing, kayaking, sailing, hiking, crafts, challenge
course, swimming, group games, singing/music, fishing,
archery, water exploration, skits, devotions and much,
much more.
You
will also note that Camp Occohannock also offers several
different special interest camping
opportunities during the summer camp sessions.
Additionally,
campers will have the opportunity to combine traditional
summer camp with community
missions
during a 12 day camp.
We
look forward to having your camper at OOTB!
