Karate Camp: (Ages 8-12)

Chuck Norris, Jakie Chan, Jet Lee, and Bruce Lee among many more have shown their talents on the Big Screen. Even as kids we want to be like the Power Rangers or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. One thing they all have in common is the reason behind learning Martial Arts. When studied and taken serious it builds one’s character, self-confidence, self-discipline, coordination and self-defense.
Megan will teach the basic requirements for receiving a white belt (maybe even a Gold belt). They will learn different types of kicks, punches, stances, and self-defense techniques. Campers will also learn bully defense and stranger danger tactics. Megan will also implement discipline, focus, respect, and other life skills necessary to be the best you can be.
Know karate already? This would be a great chance to learn a new style and share what you know.
